Overview
Introducing FireNEX™-U4F20G is a high-performance USB4 fiber optical repeater for long-distance USB connectivity. It connects to USB4 or Thunderbolt USB-C hosts and transmits signals over EMI-free fiber to a Remote Unit with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, each supporting up to 10Gbps.
It extends USB connections up to 700m at 5Gbps and 300m at 10Gbps, far beyond the limits of passive USB4 copper cables. The Local Unit supports hot-plug operation to help prevent system reboots if the fiber link disconnects.
Compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux using native drivers, it supports USB 3.0 and 2.0/1.1 devices. FireNEX™-U4F20G is ideal for industrial automation, machine vision, medical imaging, scientific research, and Pro AV applications.
