FireNEX™-U4F20G-C is a high-performance USB4 fiber optic repeater for long-distance USB-C connectivity. It connects to USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4/5 USB-C hosts and transmits signals over EMI-free fiber to a Remote Unit with a single USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port supporting up to 20Gbps — delivering the full bandwidth over one USB-C connection.
It extends USB-C connections up to 700m at 5Gbps and 300m at 20Gbps, far beyond the limits of passive USB-C cables. The Remote Unit’s downstream USB-C port also supports up to 30W USB Power Delivery, allowing a single cable to carry both high-speed data and device power. The Local Unit supports hot-plug operation to help prevent system reboots if the fiber link disconnects.
Compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux using native drivers, it supports USB 3.0 and 2.0/1.1 devices. FireNEX™-U4F20G-C is ideal for industrial automation, machine vision, medical imaging, scientific research, and Pro AV applications.
